| I was in my first band with a bunch of fellow high school students and recent grads(1971-1974). We decided to call ourselves NW Fish because we practically lived at Northwest Pool (Des Moines). We would play in garages and parks until the cops came and ruined the fun. Mainly did covers of Kinks and Faces songs. This band evolved into K3N when Tommy Gun Hughes, my brother Russ Prickett and I moved to Missouri. Others in the band were Greg Hammer, Doug Craft and Jimmy Hoffman. One of our few original songs (from 1972) was redone 30 years later by the ressurected K3N, where it immediately went to #4 worldwide on the MP3.Com Post Hardcore chart. Yeah, go figure! cya JiMi |
